Objectives:
- Increase knowledge about the role of a forensic nurse and the issues related to both health care and the law when caring for victims of violence.
- Identify subspecialties in forensic nursing.
- State the vulnerable populations and ethical dilemmas that the forensic nurse may encounter.
Criteria for successful completion includes watching an online module, completing a post-test at 80% or better, and submitting a post-course evaluation.
This enduring, asynchronous activity is available until January 20, 2026 whereupon the content will be reviewed for relevancy and updated as needed.
