About Me

Welcome, everyone! I am looking forward to learning more about you and your professional goals as we explore professional concepts in nursing in the next five weeks.

I am a clinical professor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing. I've taught online and in-person courses on topics including human biology, undergrad academic success, keyboarding and medical transcription, and a graduate-level course on instructional design.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, a Master's Degree in Higher Education from Ohio University, and a PhD in Educational Studies (Learning Technologies) from The Ohio State University. My favorite ways to spend my spare time are watercolor, paper crafts, and stained glass lamps and panels.

Meaningful and continuous progress toward excellence in nursing education and practice is my primary goal in all of the work that I do. I hope you will find a path to continuous improvement in your own professional journey as we work together over the coming weeks of this semester.
